On All Souls Day, Troop 19 joined hands with several ministries in a moving tribute to the faithful departed. The group gathered at the Jesuit Cemetery in Spokane, Washington, where they placed candles on the graves of priests, transforming the sacred grounds into a glowing sea of remembrance.

As the final candles flickered to life, the troop and their companions assembled by the columbarium to pray a heartfelt rosary. The evening concluded with warm fellowship and hot cocoa, a simple joy shared in the spirit of community and faith.

Ministries United in Prayer

This beautiful event brought together a diverse group of ministries:

  • Seminarians from Bishop White Seminary
  • Jesuit community members, some traveling from out of state
  • Sisters from the Missionaries of Charity, who serve the Spokane area

The gathering was more than a ceremony – it was a powerful opportunity for the youth of Troop 19 to witness and engage with the broader Church community, deepening their understanding of vocation, service, and prayer.
