“Go and Fear Nothing”

Mary appeared to Sr. Adele Brise in 1859 and told her, “Gather the children in this wild country and teach them what they need to know for salvation.”  Over 150 years later, we as fathers of our sons and leaders of our families must recognize that we must also teach our children what they need to know for salvation.

 

Troop 1859 officially began on September 15th, 2023, with unwavering support from our parish St. Patrick’s Oratory and our Chaplain, Canon Antoine Boucheron.  Unofficially, we began preparing in May of 2023, assembling dads who believed that Troops of St. George could be a useful vehicle for teaching our sons important life skills, but especially to provide for their growing faith.
