(November 3rd, 2023) By Captain Tom Los

Troop 31 of Saint George (Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church) spent the weekend as a family outing at Our Lady of the Harvest homestead in East Texas this last weekend (October 27-29th).  The weather was warm (almost too warm), clear and perfect for the numerous outdoor activities we did.  We did plenty of hiking, target shooting and ended each night together praying the rosary around the campfire.  The highlights of the weekend were most certainly having the ranch formally exorcised, having our confessions heard outdoors, and one of our parish priests, Abouna George Elandary, offering Divine Liturgy according to the Rite of the Antiochene Syriac Maronite Church.  We are blessed as a parish to have the full support of our clergy in growing our troop which has now over doubled in not even two years.

St George & Our Lady of Lebanon, pray for us!
